In the video we briefly showed you how you could record audio on your computer, and the software we used was called Audacity. You can download it for free from the internet, and there's a nice tutorial in how to use it here.
Note that while the above tutorial specifies a 44.1Khz sample rate as the standard for digital recording, most video applications look for 48Khz audio.
